How it works
Most tools that claim to put text behind a person actually put it behind a rectangle. This one runs a per pixel cutout, so the text disappears behind hair, shoulders, a raised hand or a microphone, and reappears in the gaps. That is the difference between an effect that looks composed and one that looks pasted on.
The same cutout runs on every frame of a video, so the text stays behind you as you move. The exported MP4 keeps your original audio.

Does it work on video as well as photos?
Yes. Video is where most tools stop, because they place text behind a rectangle rather than behind the person. Here the subject is cut out on every frame, and the exported MP4 keeps your original audio.
Why does video export need a desktop browser?
Video export uses the encoder built into your browser. Chrome and Edge on a computer support it well. Where they do not, the tool tells you before you do the work, and photos still export everywhere.
What kind of photo works best?
One person, reasonably large in the frame, with some separation from the background. Group shots and objects that are not people are hit and miss, because the cutout model is trained on people.
Can I use it for YouTube thumbnails?
