How it works

Does my screenshot get uploaded?
No. The line detection, the preview and the export all run in this browser tab. The image never leaves your computer, which is also why there is no queue and no limit.
What kind of source works?
Any screenshot of text: an article, a PDF page, a research paper, a post, a chat, a receipt. The tool finds the lines of text so you can click the one that matters, and if it misses you can drag a box around anything.
Does it read my document?
It never reads the words. It only measures where the lines of text sit, which is enough to frame the camera and place the highlight. That is also why it works in any language and any script.
What do I get out of it?
